Yvonne and her team have really helped me feel like myself again. As a woman in her 60's, post menopause was just ALOT! I was not sleeping, irritable, and had weight that no matter the diet would just not come off. I decided to move forward with a weight loss drug and went from 203 pounds to 165. In addition, Yvonne assisted in getting my hormones rebalanced. I feel like myself again. My energy is back, my sex life with my husband is improved, and I can now sleep more soundly than before. I absolutely love working with Yvonne! She is an amazing doctor who is always there whenever I have a question or need help. She has helped balance my hormones, and I truly feel like a new person since working with her. I honestly don’t know how I managed before finding her! Yvonne has done an amazing job helping me with my journey on improving my overall health. The information I received from Optimal's counselor Tayler was so detailed and made so much sense that I knew I was being taken care of by an intelligent and caring PA. I had never had such detailed blood work, this staff knows what they are doing. 100% accessible, I never waited more than 2 hours for a response to my question or problem.  In 3 months I was down 20lbs and started to feel so much better with the other treatment  plan. Yes, this comes with a cost -but aren't YOU  worth it. I have been a patient of Dr. Yvonne Downs for a few years now. She listens carefully and is genuinely invested in my care. She is thorough and takes the time to evaluate you and give you genuine and professional care. She answers any questions that you may have and makes you feel like you are her only patient. (So you feel special and cared for). When I first started as a patient, my hormone levels were zero. She has diligently worked with me to bring me to OPTIMAL levels. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Yvonne! She has truly made such a difference in how I feel and in my overall health. She took the time to really listen to me, understand what was going on with my body, and help me find a plan that actually worked for me. With her guidance, I’ve been able to get my hormones better balanced, successfully lose weight, and navigate HRT in a way that has made me feel so much more like myself again. I especially appreciate that she doesn’t just look at numbers on a lab report—she listens to how you’re actually feeling and works with you from there.
